laaaaggin' though!

maanuh. no kinda time for these things. school started last Wednesday and this semester isn't lookin too baaad. hella reading, but I mean, nothing I caan't do. And #8 came back to GSW last night, but he definitely doesn't play like he used to. Give em a couple of games though; i'm pretty sure it'll come back to him.

So. Geronimo and I were talkin about how athletes get paid hellllllllllla dough to just play sports. Kobe and his +$120 mil. contract?! Like fooreaal? Kobe got game, but its crazy how much "they're worth". And then, we got people workin jobs that the average person wouldn't want to do, and they're gettin minimum wage an hour. FYI, Kansas' minimum is $2.65 as of 2009 (http://www.dol.gov/esa/minwage/america.htm). Their cost of living probably isn't as high as the other states, but damn! Not even $3 an hour?! Kobe is makin $273 an hour on his contract. That difference puts the iculous in ridiculous. hah. I wish those people doin the dirty work in this world would get paid more for what they do. Shit, another be-thankful-for-what-you-have type of moment for ya.

I came across Ne-Yo's old cd yesterday. And maaan, he be speaakin truth:
